A clone of Fandaniel, made using the DNA of the Allagan Technologist Amon.He was in a stasis-like state for over 5000 years while retaining a connection to Fandaniel the entire time. As such, he has some memories of Hermes, all memories of Amon, and fractured memories of Fandaniel since Amon. Yet, his interpretation of those same memories differ from the actual person.Unwittingly, during his long sleep, he also "birthed" a soul. And that soul is a shard of Azem.

6TH ASTRAL ERA - BEFORE ARR

[???] was an unfortunate viera who ended up being stolen away from his people in the jungles when he was but a young boy. Surviving horrors, he managed to crawl his way back home, only to be denied returning. No exception was made even for a viera child that had only left due to force.Twisted by betrayal and not having much choice otherwise, the child cast away his forest name and went by the name "Johan aan Kaiser" among the people of Ala Mihgo, then under Garlean rule.Perhaps he could have had peaceful enough days trying to live under the radar, but Johan burned with the desire for power, and didn't hesitate to delve straight into danger and pour over anything forbidden under imperial noses. That wasn't to say that he never got caught, especially due to his distinct appearance as a rarely-seen male viera-- it was more that the consequences were far less important than the knowledge that was being dangled just out of his grasp.Eventually he got conscripted into the military, using thaumaturgy as part of the typical disposable foot troops. After all, it wasn't as if aan had much chance to get anywhere higher, at least until they served 20 years in the military, and even after then due to discrimination. Johan didn't really care about the lack of upward movement, since in his case, there was a more obvious reason why he was never promoted: he was not one to follow orders to the letter, preferring to get the job done with a healthy dash of chaos. It was no wonder that his military career ended with him defecting.
